2024 The list is drawn from survey results that measure employee opinion on 20 workplace practices. Employees rate their satisfaction with their company, which makes up 71% of companies’ 100 Best scores. They also rate the importance they attach to work environment, management and communication, decision-making and trust, career development and learning, and benefits and compensation. Employers also answer a questionnaire on benefits. Companies are also given points for employee participation. The tight labor market means employers have to get creative to recruit and retain great team members. This year’s top employers offer a range of perks, like bonuses or credits toward a home purchase, regular staff morale events and breakroom snacks, paid gym memberships or free concert tickets. But employees also stressed the ongoing importance of great health benefits and the flexibility to maintain work-life balance.
