And what would you share with your peers? Absolutely. Be willing to work hard, keep a positive attitude and make safety and stewardship a priority! Where do you see mining in Alaska in 50 years? Flourishing, I hope. Mining has come a long way in regard to mining methods and technology, being able to mine cleaner and safer is the goal and from what I have experienced we are already there. What does AMA mean to you? It is a place where knowledge can be shared, networking in the industry takes place and the industry is strengthened! What do you do for fun? I enjoy traditional sewing and beading, berry picking, hiking and hunting with my dad. Anything else you want to share? It has been so rewarding getting to work with my dad and experiencing the lifestyle working at Donlin that I heard so much about growing up.
