PANDY GARVIC presents Peninsula Family Service (PFS) empowers individuals and families through comprehensive programs. Our impact ranges from early learning to financial empower- ment, older adult services and employment initiatives, supporting people in every stage of life. One exciting new program is PFS Youth Financial Empowerment, tailored for young adults ages 13-20 years old. Cohorts of 25 students learn credit and money management basics including how to spend, save and borrow, as well as how to avoid predatory lending practices and scams. Our goal is to provide young people with the knowledge, skills and resources to make sound financial decisions for their futures. Building financial literacy provides the tools needed to avoid challenges related to debt or credit and to manage resources for a lifetime of well-being. By equipping the next generation with these skills, we are fostering a resilient future. Join PFS to Empower Youth, Build Financial Futures at two exquisite fall events: Holidays on a High Note—September 17 and Thanks For Giving—November 15. For information, visit pfso.org/auxiliaries. .
