Celebrating 45 years of service, RMHC Bay Area has been a beacon of hope for families with critically ill children. Last year alone, our Charity provided over 38,000 overnight stays and served 104,000 nourishing meals, amounting to over $18.5 million in economic relief to families. As co-founder of RMHC, pediatric oncologist Dr. Audrey Evans once said, "A family with a sick child is a sick family." RMHC Bay Area stands by this belief, offering no-cost housing, free meals, and comprehensive psychosocial support services for families with children accessing care at the Bay Area’s leading children’s hospitals, including Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland. Core services and programs that care for the entire family are delivered through our 123-bedroom Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, new sevenbedroom Ronald McDonald House Oakland, and in-hospital programs in San Francisco and across the Bay Area. We also provide free oral health care services in Contra Costa and Santa Clara Counties through two Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles. We know we can do more. With proximity to preeminent hospitals, access to leading experts and the support of a robust volunteer and donor network, RMHC Bay Area is poised to offer greater support to families as they navigate their child’s medical journey. Sick children need their families, and families with sick children need an entire community of support by their side. Join us today.
