RAINBOW SCHOOLS Rainbow Schools non-profit educational and childcare services began in 1972 and serves approximately 400 children and employs approximately 100 staff. Our services provide the needs of young children between the ages of two and five years old (3 months – five years in Honolulu). The state of Hawaii Department of Human Services licenses all of our locations annually. In addition, all of our sites are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children or National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.
