HOUSING Pearl Harbor Front Desk (808-471-2308) Upon checking in to the Regional Support Center (RSC), your Receipts Clerk will provide you with a copy of your PCS Orders showing the time and date you reported, a copy of your detaching endorsement showing when you detached your last command and a copy of your Page 2. Check in as soon as possible, but no later than 10 days after reporting. This will start your Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) authorization. Upon check-in at the Housing Office in the Navy Aloha Center, you will be referred to the Hunt Companies’ office within the center for your first choice of availability within Navy Housing. The Ohana Military Communities team will greet you and your family, and provide courtesy van tours of the communities. If no family housing is immediately available, they will also assist you in finding suitable off-base housing. Call 808-474-1820/21 for more information. TEMPORARY LODGING Navy Lodge Hawaii 1275 Saratoga Blvd., Bldg. 78; Reservations: 808-440-2290 or 800-628-9466; Navy-Lodge.com The lodge offers affordable, comfortable, air-conditioned suites and rooms. Amenities include a swimming pool, large meeting room, NEX Gift Shop and landscaped courtyard. Each room features satellite TV, DVD/CD player, direct dial telephone service, and a kitchenette complete with stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. Service members receive full temporary lodging allowances for their stay and are reminded that they are not eligible for TLA until they have signed in at their unit. TLA entitlement commences the date your PCS Orders are endorsed as having reported aboard. It is imperative that you have your orders endorsed with the time and date reported within 72 hours of arriving on Oahu. You will not be reimbursed for any days of temporary lodging prior to the report date endorsed on your orders. TLA is processed by the TLA Clerk located in the RSC Receipts Section. It is payable in 10day increments (up to 60-days) at the per diem rate. TLA is not paid in advance. Normally on the 11th day, you will need to provide the TLA clerk with your hotel bill and TLA authorization from the Housing Office. Required documents must be submitted to CPC (Command Pass Coordinator) for reimbursement that requires 72 working hours. The PSD Office will provide you with a list of hotels for temporary lodging. You must bring military ID, driver’s license, vehicle registration, current safety inspection certificate and proof of insurance. Motorcyclists must bring their motorcycle safety and training cards. JBPHH Vehicle Registration Office (808-448-0312) 1705 O’Malley Blvd., Bldg. 192H. The City & County of Honolulu satellite vehicle registration office at JBPPH provides motor vehicle registration services to Oahu military personnel, their family members and civilian personnel who have access to military bases.
